Ardrossan was founded by Nick Harvey in 2013. Prior to establishing the independent consultancy, Nick built extensive experience working within the world’s largest insurance broking companies.

Our clients have included global and national corporations, SMEs and industry groups from a wide range of sectors, including professional services, manufacturing, retailing, hospitality, finance, property, transport and logistics, construction, sport and leisure.

Over more than twenty five years, Nick and the team at Adrossan have addressed many risk and insurance issues that your business may also face. In devising solutions to those issues we gained the expertise to develop processes that set us apart from conventional insurance brokers.

In 2023, Ardossan was acquired by the Honan Insurance Group (Honan). Established in Melbourne in 1964, Honan is a full-service insurance broking and risk advisory group with offices in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia. Honan has deep sector experience and a strong track record in risk management and is excited to welcome Ardrossan into its suite of brands.

Since starting his career more than 25 years ago, Nick has built extensive risk and insurance broking skills servicing accounts in Australia and internationally. Having worked with clients ranging from multibillion-dollar global corporations to local SMEs, he has the all-round expertise to manage accounts of all sizes and deliver solutions that are appropriate and measurable.

Prior to co-founding Ardrossan, Nick held senior positions including National Development Manager at OAMPS, Head of Project Management at HSBC Insurance Brokers UK and Account Executive at Marsh UK. His knowledge of the industry is very broad, with an emphasis on professional services, manufacturing, retailing, hospitality, finance, property, transport and logistics, sport and leisure.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Insurance from Deakin University, and is a Certified Insurance Professional and Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance. He continues to seek and undertake learning opportunities that will benefit the risk and insurance programs being developed by Ardrossan.
